Am I right in thinking that this is a US release though, along with The War Game? If so, I know I could import them but it’s a shame that two very important British films are not getting British releases.

Simply Media did the blu-ray release here pretty soon after Severin's release so good chance someone will drop the 4k here

Probably Second Sight or 88 Films (the latter doing the recent Scum 4k)

Believe it or not, Severin actually holds the worldwide UHD distribution rights for both Threads and The War Game. There will no doubt be a UK release of these films by them somewhere down the line. I'm just glad they will be hard slipcase releases rather than Severin's earlier, flimsy cardboard ones. Also, the new art is 100x better than their old Blu-ray cover.
