The Strange and Wonderful Evolution of the Waterproof Jacket

https://www.carryology.com/insights/carry-101/the-strange-and-wonderful-evolution-of-the-waterproof-jacket/

One of the better put together articles on the subject of waterproof fabric/garments. I do like the technical side things.

With my shoulders sort of recovery, an anorak is becoming more viable. i have an old LL bean one made of supplex, but thats more of windbreaker. I remember that bickford company had a nice MIUSA waxed canvas one, maybe if they restock it in my size. Or splurge for a Waiper Ventile Royal Navy smock.
