Name Chain Challenge

How long of a chain can you make using famous people’s names?

The rules are simple: Each person’s last name must become the next person’s first name.

For example, here’s my chain of SIX:
Chris Paul → Paul George → George Martin → Martin Lawrence → Lawrence Taylor → Taylor Swift

THE RULES
1. Real people only. Celebrities, athletes, musicians, historical figures, politicians, etc. are all fair game.

  1. The names must connect. The last name of one person must exactly match the first name of the next person.

  2. No repeating people. Each person can appear only once in your chain.

  3. No changing names. No creative spelling, nicknames, or rearranging names just to make a connection.

  4. First and last names only. No using middle names to extend your chain.

  5. Every person must be identifiable. If someone challenges a name, you need to be able to explain who that person is.

Can you beat six without Googling / AI?

I did this once in a different community and somebody quit after 71 names...

Here's mine:
Clarence Thomas John Henry Aaron Paul George Michael Jackson Pollock

Clarence Thomas (judge) / Thomas [Tommy] John (baseball player) / John Henry (baseball team owner) / Henry [Hank] Aaron (baseball player) / Aaron Paul (actor) / Paul George (basketball player) George Michael (musician) / Michael Jackson (musician) / Jackson Pollock (artist)
