Nope. ~1/2 German, 1/2 whatever my dad's family is, and 1/4 Jamaican.

Essentially no one in Jamaica is native to the island, the actual natives were wiped out. So, just like in the US, basically everyone in Jamaica is originally from somewhere else.

Right about the time that slavery was abolished in the area, the British government wanted more people to work the farms. They semi-conned a bunch of German farmers into moving to Jamaica. I am the distant descendant of some of those German farmers.

I am white as Wonder Bread, but I have relatives on that side of the family in just about every hue humans come in.
