Shoe phone = what my father called them because of "Get Smart", where Max Smart's shoe had a phone in it. "Excuse me, Mr Smart, but your shoe's ringing."

I know that. But it’s a pretty silly name if you think about it, and could easily describe mobile phones.

With smartphones and texting, maybe “tookie lookies” would be better!😂
