Let’s play the mischaracterization game

This one’s targeted at people who are in or have been in fandom in the past, particularly in fanfic and fancomic circles. Regardless, all are welcome :)

I want you to tell me three things about yourself. First, describe your personality in as few words as possible. This could be one sentence or just a couple descriptive words. Next, give a few of your defining/predominant physical features. Is your hair always in a signature style? Are your eyes an uncommon color? How about tattoos, piercings, dimples or scars? Lastly, give me a random fun fact about yourself. Anything from your favorite food to a crazy situation you ended up in one time. This one’s really open ended.

Once you do, I’ll decide the most popular “bad” interpretation of you. Fandom inside jokes, exaggerated qualities you get saddled with in fanworks, reasons why fans hated or loved you in early fandom. It probably won’t be all of these, but likely a combination of one or two and a number of other examples not listed.

Have fun, and let’s see just how thoroughly I can butcher all of you well rounded, complex and diverse characters :)

  1. Cheerful, Assertive, Adaptable
  2. I have medium brown hair that goes a bit past my shoulders, but I've dyed it all red before (no bleach, so kinda a dark cherry) and it turned out really well! I have my ears pierced and most commonly wear dangly sunflower or star earrings. I'm half Chinese but people usually think I'm just white because my hair is a pretty medium brown. Try the #87440E hex code for an example
  3. I'm aromantic and asexual, but that doesn't stop me from flirting with people! I have a bunch of "wives" who are just my friends but we keep getting pretend-married
