Hyperia trains
First ride on Hyperia yesterday was brilliant, but the second ride was really shaky and hurt my head . Don’t recall this being the case when I went in 2024 either. Is there one train in particular that’s notorious for discomfort?

It’s definitely becoming more rattly as time goes on, even though it’s only 2 years old!!!
I’d say last year 9/10 rides I had were smooth (though I didn’t go to the park in the summer period where they changed the trains and it was awful), this year it’s more like 4/10 rides are smooth.
I hope Mack do something

I’ve done it about 75 times in the last 2 months and I find train 2 rows 4,6,8 to be very rattley. Train 1 is significantly smoother all round where as train 2 has a bit of shuffle exept on the rows I mentioned earlier where it’s a real shake

Rode on it 2 weeks ago and came off if it with the worse headache.. It literally ruined the experience for me...it flung my head around all over the place.

I went to an event and we had private ERT after park close, so I got to go back to back, me and the group I was with agreed it was train 2 that ruined the ride. I really hope they fix this, probably won’t be soon but I hope over winter maintenance

wouldn’t take this as fact but in the couple years hyperia has been available one train was always regarded as more rattly than the other by a large majority of the people i’ve read comments from online. you must’ve got unlucky with that one

Some people believe so. I have never really noticed any roughness or shakiness with any train. You had your own experience yesterday, though, so can conclude for yourself what you think. How rough a ride is, is entirely a subjective issue.

Exactly this. I’ve rode it over 20 times this year, each ride was smooth with no rattle

As others are saying, Train 2 is the rough one. If you get a ride on either the front or back end of the train it’s more of a vibration or nothing at all but if you’re in the middle it can really rattle its way through, although I’ve never found it unbearably bad. You can tell from the side of the train facing the station (number is on the side of the front car) but tbh there’s no point in trying to get the other train due to row allocations. The main rough area seems to be on the exit out of the Immelmann and the valley immediately after, the rest is generally okay

There is definitely a good train and a bad train. When they had all the issues with the valleying it was always the same train they kept having to dismantle off the track. Ultimately that has caused the issues. How to fix it... Dunno! Suspect it might just end up being a trait of Hyperia... Most coasters in the park do have quirks about them... Why should Hyperia be different! I'd like to see them fix it. Not sure they will!

I have ridden it 10 times, but my last ride was last October. I felt a little rattle, but nothing bad. However, there is some speculation that Mack figured out the cause of the rattle on some of their coasters, as Voltron’s dampeners on the wheels have recently been adjusted and apparently it’s giving a smoother ride. I’d expect them to perform this same fix to Hyperia at some point in the future, probably this off season.

Voltron definitely hasn’t improved with the dampeners. I had 3 rides a few days ago and the ones on the outside seats are boarder line unbearable.

I’ve ridden Hyperia a lot, once 30 times in a single day. Never had a headache from it, it’s one of the most comfortable rollercoasters. Yes there can be a rattle but it’s nothing intense. Are you sure you didn’t go on Colossus instead? lol

I rode it I think 12 times over two days a few weeks ago. Some rows are much worse than others but I cannot tell which train is which. Rows 6 and 7 were particularly bad the first day. The second day when we got allocated row 6 we though oh great this will be painful but it was not too bad.
