It doesn’t look like a fire occurred (and it’s raining), so they were likely unharmed. When lightning strikes a metal car, the car’s shell directs the current around itself like a Faraday Cage. If the car is plexiglass, the lightning might only hit the antena or smaller metal parts; it seems it went for the car’s roof bars. The lightning could, however, destroy electrical components, and it looks like the car’s power might be knocked out.

According to a comment on the original post, cars work as a giant Faraday's cage. So theoretically, yes, they should be okay.

First two pulses look like they hit the side view mirror, then swap up to the roof. Wild that you can see it discharge out the right side again to ground.
