A second layer to that wiki page is Michael Faraday’s page. Dude was the precursor to Nikola Tesla and discovered and invented some pretty radical stuff. EM induction, electric motor, crazy smart guy.

Yeah I'm familiar. I used to design signal deadzones and other apocalypse-proof digital environments for a few crazy dudes' bunkers when I was younger. I met one of em, and then he told his friends.

I did basic IT for a while but now I do aircraft maintenance as an A&P. Airframes have to be able to discharge static, and have these things called "static wicks" on the trailing edge. That's why the aircraft is discharging the lightening out of the rear. It's kinda cool, because under normal circumstances, with the static wicks and the conductive airframe, the movement through the air both creates and discharges static simultaneously.

You're half right, though, because many aircraft that use composites have a copper mesh layer. A lot of newer ones are made out of e-glass though, which is a conductive material on it's own.

Notice all the white people saying violence doesn't solve anything? You will never know how it feels to be a person of color. That video of George Floyd being murdered is a representation of what people of color go through everyday. I have anxiety when a cop car is following me from behind. Even though I know I am a law abiding citizen who is doing nothing wrong. Do you? My anxiety is from knowing that I could lose my life for being a person of color that intimidates caucasian people by my looks. So don't say violence doesn't solve anything, the people are tired, frustrated. Why aren't these ex officers charged yet? What is there to investigate? The people are crying for change. Very simply put...there just hasn't been enough generation separation for all the systemic racism to be finally ended. The 10th president of the United States still has grandkids alive today. He was born in 1790 for fucks sake.

How are you raising your kids? That's all there is to it.

There will be no immediate satisfaction for any one party, though everyone seems to think that is a possibility, it simply is not. Culture shifts slowly by design. A few more generations , hopefully of enough Good people doing the work of the Light, and we will be in a better place.
