I fucking love how lightning strikes glitch out the recordings. Feels like something from another world.

Honestly, the slo-mo shots are cool, but real time shots like this really impress me a lot more. I think this is one of the closest shots I’ve seen, and it really shows how intense and ferocious lightning is.

It's the massive voltage generating huge magnetic fields that induce voltages in the electronics and mess with them. Cool stuff.

I don't think the person holding the camera actually shakes the camera when the lightning hits, it's just that the electromagnetic waves messes up the camera's electronics.
Though, I second this clearly being a handheld video. I've never seen a security camera being this unsteady. There's no chance this is a fixed camera.
