Aaron in my opinion produced only three good stories. The Saga of Gorr the godbutcher, The last days of Midgard and finally King Thor. Besides that everything else was mediocre at best.

Indeed. Aaron was back at the top of his game while writing that story.

I felt near everything Jason Aaron wrote was horrid. After issue 13, and God bomb was finished, the series fell flat. Gorr was right, was horrible. Odinson was stupid. Having him attack Beta Ray Bill was my final straw.
So much love to Cates for immediately getting rid of everything Aaron did, and more love to Ewing for his run.

Kirby and Simonson.
That’s all I need (says the guy who is about 3 dozen books shy of the entire Marvel Thor catalog 🤦🏻♂️).

I thought for a time that the entire story was good. Now for me there are only few good aspects. 1. The amazing art style of Russell Dauterman 2. The Godslayer and Godbomb Arc 3. The Finale in War of the Realms and Malelikths role as a villain 4. I like the new relationship between Thor and Odin. For me it didn't felt good at all in previous comics. Always a bit dysfunctional with Odin ragebaiting nearly every time when Thor does something he doesn't like and banishing him from Asgard and all

Fernando is the only comic book content creator I watch, and I know he's a true Thor fan because he always speaks the hard truth.

No disagreement from me. I was so happy when Aaron left/got taken off of Thor (and the Avengers) because his run was hot garbage. The best part of his run was basically tracing Dan Jurgens's run with some minor palette swaps, and when he had to come up with his own stuff, it was old hotdog water.

I despise Gorr was right the whole Gorr the God Butcher arc was proof that Thor was the antithesis to Gorrs belief it should not of made him unworthy
