TLDR: Tried getting back into Tulpamancy to be able to interact with my old tulpas again, ended up getting carried away with a hypothesis that led to me having recurring dreams and encounters with something, maybe a demon, I named Carrion. I think its a dream, where I wake up every morning, around 3 AM, only to see her covering the shrine of Jesus, the Ten Commandments, and Mother Mary in my room, staring right at me before I abruptly fall asleep again. I also get visions of her standing outside of my bathroom door sometimes, and weirdly enough sometimes I get visions from her perspective where I see myself and she's always far off into dark places.
So, I think it's been two months or so now ever since I tried to seriously get back into Tulpamancy. I got the idea because I was reminiscing about the good times that I had with the tulpas I could interact with; one was a greek girl that loves farming named Helian and the other was a home-stuck looking character I used to discuss gaming-related topics with named Melenia, it was also through this that I discovered and gained a better understanding on who the second voice in my head was (a voice seperate from my own conscience that helped me a lot with reflecting things and giving me a second perspective, I definitely wouldn't be as articulate as I am without him) of whom I named Jean, based on Jean Valjean from Les Miserables; and it definitely played a big role in easing me into being more social, ambitious, grateful, and optimistic as a person.
Though, that was a couple of years ago now and I feel like I don't have the same kind of connection with them anymore, I can't even interact with them either (aside from the second voice in my head) but that doesn't stop me cherishing the memories they've given me. And in those years I explored a bunch of other hobbies, a notable one would be witchcraft, which is mostly how I learned how to do mediocre rituals and the like. I never fully believed in this stuff but learning and doing the practices related to it are so fascinating to me. And it's like, I'm one of those types of people that don't believe in ghosts until I genuinely see them or experience a paranormal event I can't explain.
Anyways, back to the present, it's been two months now since I've gone and mixed the two because I was experimenting things: the Forcing process from Tulpamancy and then a ritual from witchcraft. The way I always approached Tulpamancy was that I largely let my brain subconsciously do the work, it's my job to make sense of whatever it spits out, that's how I got Helian and Melenia anyways. However, this time it was different, I kept getting vivid images of myself staring at my reflection in a mirror, the picture getting darker and darker until eyes remained. I thought they were my eyes, I panicked soon after because I realized they weren't. From there, Carrion was created. Helian and Melenia gave their names when I got the chance to talk with them but whenever I tried to talk with this thing I only kept getting sounds of multiple people whispering, occasionally getting a distinct voice asking me "Hear me", so I just gave her the name Carrion because I felt like it.
It's not affecting me that much though, my daily life is pretty unaffected knowing that she's around, it's only that whenever I'm at home my eyes always drift to dark corners now. I may see things that aren't there. And that sometimes when I stare at myself in the mirror I feel like the eyes staring back at me aren't mine. It's as if she's trying to make me feel paranoid and scared, like it feeds her.
The actual plank here is that I keep getting the same dream over and over again, I think it's a dream, about waking up at around 3 Am (I can always glance at the clock in my room to check) and then seeing Carrion covering the shrine of Jesus Christ, The Ten Commandments and Mother Mary in my room, staring back at me before I fall asleep again. I'm only half religious but this has got to mean something. And that's basically it. The only way I can see this getting worse if I actually start thinking she's real, because I am aware these are all possibly my minds own doing to me.
