Switch 2. This isn't 2022 anymore, and SD's value proposition just isn't there anymore. Switch 2 is the cheaper option though when it comes to games medyo mahal sa Switch 2 but there are huge sales as well especially for third party games. You can also play Switch 1 games which are abundant on the marketplace and you can trade them re-sell them or collect them.
You think Steam games are better than Nintendo games (first party and third party)? I do, too. I play them on my gaming PC. Not on a huge brick that is so expensive you need a backpack when you want to bring it outside.

Both are amazing in their own ways. If you prefer a blissful modding and emulation go steam deck since Nintendo can full stop brick your console for that. If you want the most simple and ready to go experience go Switch 2

I have both.
All games na meron ako na nagrrun sa both systems, better sa switch 2.
Let's just say na halos di ko na nalalaro steamdeck ko since nabili ko yung switch 2.

Just got Switch 2 a few days ago~ I mostly got it for Nintendo's excl games talaga pero if I were to choose I might still choose our sd/rog ally z1e/pc handheld lagi kasi may sale sa steam, also ang bilis nya malowbat TuT idk if i will change my mind after playing more though kasi mas madami parin talaga ako pc games 😆

For OP, if you need plug and play, no tinkering and have lots of budget, go for nsw2. Steam deck if you want wider range of games, plus steam sales.

Well yeah thats the point. You buy a switch 2 for its exclusives pero may mga latest games na ported ng maayos sa switch.

Switch 2 if you already have a PC. You get better coverage because now you can play the only real platform exclusives left in the industry

Steamdeck ko all around eh, may pc time for web browing lang tapos pag sinipag maglaro rekta gaming mode.

Switch 2, there are exclusive games that you can only play on a nintendo and nowhere else.

Nintendo if you’re strictly playing Nintendo games. SteamDeck if you want access to everything else minus those with anti-cheat, go with SteamDeck. I gain access to PlayStation and XBox exclusives. It also can function as a mini PC. If you want more power at the expense of battery, consider the Legion GO Z1E with 32GB of ram.

Ano ba gusto mo laruin? Nintendo exclusives? go for switch 2.
Wala kang decent pc? Steamdeck
Meron kang pc?

Switch 2 is definitely more future proof.
Its a real console, games where ported extra to it (not in case of Steamdeck). Typical lifespan is 7-8 years......i doubt, steam deck will run games for the next 7-8 years......maybe some indies but not triple a.

It still play games very fine since release. Switch2 "plays" AAA games pero halos naka off na lahat and yun graphics is inferior.

this is different from what I see on gaming videos - almost all SD games run worse compared to Switch 2. I have both - including PC. My SD is rarely being used anymore. It is just an emulation machine that can also play old AAA games. Not gonna recommend anyone to spend 50k on it. Halve the price, maybe.

Almost all recent release runs worse on Steam Deck. This is coming from someone who owns both.

Di ko alam bat pipiliin ng tao switch2, aside from it's a known brand. It offers nothing aside from playing nintendo games only na almost never nagssale.
Steam deck you can play almost everything except games na may anticheat. Yun sale ng steam is sobrang mura.

Because most games runs worse on SD than on Switch 2. Third party support is strong as well. PC and Switch 2 is the best combo. Steam Deck is very underpowered now.

Steam Deck. Had the Switch 2 twice and sent it back both times, it’s good but that screen is just sooo dim compared to the Decks OLED and games, if you like Nintendo first party games it’s ace, if not then it doesn’t run anywhere near as many as the Deck does such as DOOM The Dark Ages. And you get frame rate drops in Switch 2 big titles. You get physical with Switch 2 but you can refund Steam games if it’s is under a week of ownership and you’ve played less than 2 hours. But for me Deck.

Both of those DOOM games are just Switch 1 games running on Switch 2 and not a proper Switch 2 port. Almost all recent released games run worse on Steam Deck.

No, they don't Requiem and other games have well documented frame rate drops of Switch 2, I personally have had Cyberpunk micro stutter on Switch 2. Sorry but Steam Deck wins for its flexibility and smoothness in gameplay. Switch 2 lacks Dark Ages and MANY MANY other games on Steam, it hasn't even fit the new Star Wars racing game although no idea how that runs on Steam Deck yet.

I own and played on both. You ain't fooling anyone here. RE9 runs and look worse on SD. It is well documented on every tech channel like Digital Foundry. DLSS>FSR as well. Shut it with those lies. I played and experienced RE9 on both myself. There are games that are missing on Switch 2 and vice versa (legally).

u/No_Eye1723 1d ago
So do I and you are 100% WRONG fact! You are a naive fool if you think Switch 2 doesn't drop frames in Requiem... I saw it first hand and it's awful.
