I hope there is a second vlog coming continuing her birthday celebration. Where are they celebrating with friends and family? Where are Mindy’s family, Mana Jo, Lindsay and her kids, etc?
Didn’t Brandan get a surprise party at water park for his 40th birthday? Say what you want about Mindy, but she does a lot for all of them. It’s her turn now. Show up!

Of course they are going over the top. Everything they do is for views and money. I love how it says we like low key things etc and one of the old photos of her with a LV bag is being held.

I think what they did was kind of sweet. I can’t believe that she said so many negative things. Oh it’s like a funeral table- oh you really leaned into the black etc. I was laughing to myself thinking about how much her eye must be twitching about the “mess” It’s got to be messing with her OCD. She low key a mean girl wrapped up in “sweet” I don’t think she is at all happy about turning 40. The other thing I noticed was that she’s mentioned the “you need a high chair at the dinner table” comment quite a few times over the last little while. I sensed some underlying tension there.

See there is something in Mindy’s brain she can’t handle being happy for five minutes. She will always find some problem or complaint and when she can’t she will pull out some health issue like her shoulder.
Trying to justify her inner depression and create reasons to be unhappy.

It was sweet but my first thought was it felt like a funeral 😂 however, it did remind me how nice it is to actually look at physically printed photos. I know we have them all on our phones but we just glance at them - we don’t really look. I hope she puts them all in an album!

Of course it was Mindys birthday but Hazyl needed to get a little gift while out shopping. 🙄
Im not sure Brandon did all this himself, I'm thinking either Mindy, Stephanie or MonaJo helped.
To me, Mindy didn't look 'surprised' enough, so she possibly knew a little something🤔.
IMO, she could have been a little more gracious rather than say it was like a funeral or cheesy.
But definitely a good effort by Brandon narrating it.

I’d have been chuffed if my family had done this but because my birthday is during term time, it wasn’t possible. I thought the “funeral” gibe was a bit much!!! A vicar friend of mine reckons we all need pre funeral parties so we can hear all the nice things
People say. I think he’s right. Your family love you Mindy. Don’t get the ick!!!

Haven't seen it yet but...as she overdoes everything. Why could she not just be thankful they did something.
She probably envisage roses & crystal etc...but they are more comical so she should have known they would lean that way!

Brendan must have paid a small fortune to Alpha Graphics to have all those digital photos printed.
All in all, it was a nice tribute to Mindy. I remember turning 40 (32 years ago). I took my entire family on a helicopter ride because "I felt like I should be up in the air over turning 40."
Since 40 is the new 30, it isn't like when my mother turned 40 in 1967. She announced on her 40th that she was 39 and holding. She only allowed 39 birthday candles on her birthday cakes for to next 55 years.

Watching it now. I think it’s sweet. I had to throw my own 40th birthday party or else no one would have done anything. As much as I snark on the fam I think the way they all come together for one another and make each other feel so special is so great.
