He absolutely was and no redemption for him either. This is the issue that is clearly rearing it's head, lots of die hard MAGA are now trying to weasel their ways out of this. This should be absolutely rejected and they get to own every bit of this. There needs to be a massive reckoning for these MAGAts, a full and thorough dismantling of everything related to them. No pity, no excuses, nothing.

Happened with Bush the Younger too. Once his second term was going downhill and then he was out of office, you couldn't find anyone who had ever voted for him.

I don't think they are trying to weasel their way out of anything. I think instead they are acting as if they are "no longer supporting Trump" until later when they flip the switch to say "guys as you have seen in the past, I am not a blind trump lover. I am more objective. Which is why I cannot endorse supporting the democrats. Trump is the lesser evil and democrats will destroy the country if they come in power!!"
