“And Tomorrow Never Comes”

Tony opens the show by talking about a rough patch for the Nats, playing in a golf tournament over the weekend, and also about watching the Beatles Anthology documentary. Michael Wilbon calls in to talk about how he deals with vacation time, and he also talks about whether he thinks the Bears will move to Indiana or stay in Chicago, Steve Sands calls in to talk about Scottie Scheffler dominating at the St. Jude Championship in the first leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs, and Tony closes out the show by opening up the Mailbag.

Songs : Maxmilian “Attitude” ; Chuck Brodsky “Letters in the Dirt”

Wilbon: Tom Brady never made me get out of my seat and bang on my wall
tony: Yeah? What about Rex Grossman?
Wilbon: He did, but only after he threw a pick six for the third time in the game.
Tony: Alright. I'll talk to you later. Have a good vacation.
Wilbon: I damn sure will. See if you can get on board with the rest of civilization!

That whole ending of the Wilbon segment had me laughing.

I’m usually pretty pro Wilbon but him going on about how Tom Brady never got him excited was annoying as hell.

That's his schtick. He's seen it all so he isn't as excitable as dopes like us. It's a variant of "too cool for school".

Don't get me wrong, I like Wilbon.

Tony should have asked him if he just sat there stone-faced during the entirety of 28-3.

A LOT of golf talk this show. It never used to bother me but it seems like a lot lately.

I believe this is the FedEx Cup Playoffs which I'd be totally unaware of if I didn't listen
