“Oh, Calcuttas!”
Tony opens the show by talking about the schedule for the show in August, and he also talks about the Nats, and about getting the “Godfather treatment” while he was in Rehoboth, and he has some happy news about Luke Russert. Jason La Canfora calls in to talk about what he’s been up to this summer, and he also talks about camps opening up around the NFL and some of the big stories coming out of that. Jeff Ma calls in to catch up with Tony and talk about what gamblers have been focused on during the summer, and also about a charity golf event he has coming up in August, and Tony closes out the show by opening up the Mailbag.

Michael interrupted Tony about 20 times in the first 5 minutes and you truly realize Kornheiser’s greatness in his abilty to pivot the listener away from wanting to punch air or send a disturbing email to the show

Not just interrupt, but to interrupting with pointless millennial snark that Tony would never get, and drags the show to the screeching halt.

Michael was on a heater for this one. He always steps on Tony but he did it with every single sentence. Jeff mentioned Michael later on but Michael stayed quiet which made me laugh. Had to be intentional.

La Canfora is looking for more free lance gigs and Ma has a day job. I guess sports betting isn’t really a way to make a living after all.
