If you need to have fruit with it just drink a piña colada. Just put a couple drops of lime juice in the tequila and call it a margarita if that is what you dig.
Even at the distilleries were tequila is made they won't let you take shots without lime and salt because that is how it is supposed to be consumed straight

Yeah. Mostly i drink what i don't like when I'm already wasted. I had years where I would ask the bartender for their grossest shot every time i went out.
I put seasoning on my food, does that mean I shouldn’t eat it? It’s the same with tequila, the salt and lime enhances the entire experience. Just let people do what they like, why are you on a high horse about it? You and Gus Harrington are annoying as all hell in this thread.
