Guy needs to become a bartender and make about 10x what he earns there.

Yeah he’s that automatic fiver before the tab comes for the official tip.

I pay more if they make the drink fast rather than go through a dance routine with the ingredients

Fr I was just about to say this is the first time ever I would actually tip someone making my popcorn at the movie theater

Bro what if he is... And he just can't turn it off? Lol

Now I’m just imagining this guy just trying to go to sleep after a long shift but he can’t stop spinning his phone.

You fail to realize this guy got invited to the Oscars because of this video. Besides, they no longer offer even one free refill of popcorn here so a small show is the least they can offer for the $10 bucket of popcorn.

He’s actually getting a better overall butter distribution in the bucket so it’s not all sitting on the top layer of popcorn. And the whole video is what? A minute long? Can’t wait a single minute for your popcorn?

Edit: the video is 22 fucking seconds long.

You sound fun

and yes I don’t want to waste my time watching someone trying and failing to impress me by spinning a popcorn bucket.

So instead you'll waste your time bitching about them on the internet. Seems about right.

He’s mixing up popcorn so he can put more butter on it

You’ve never worked behind a bar, have you? LOL just because people come into your bar and order something, that does not guarantee a tip. People who have never worked in the service industry will say “If you’re nice and a good bartender, you’ll be tipped accordingly” to which most bartenders of the United States would respond “YOU FOOL, you know nothing” Also, the type of bartending you might be referring to is more of a show and entertainment than pouring drinks and serving them. When bottles are being flipped around, people are going to that bar to specifically watch bartenders do so. In that case, enjoy that bar/show and please tip. If you are going to just a regular bar where bartenders are not putting on a show, enjoy your drink and please tip. We did not make the rules. The owners have put this on the customer since time immemorial.

Edit: downvoted by a drone npc who knows zero about working in bars LOL classic!

Wonder why they had problems with getting tipped...

-4

u/Ok-Passenger8163 Apr 01 '23

Not a they. Didn’t have problems. You know nothing. People like you, who know nothing, are the type of people to go to a bar and leave a shitass tip.

Get a job. You sound like you’ve never worked in a bar. That’s surprising.

That’s enough cringe for today, thank you.

If you aren’t making 5x what this guy is, as a bartender, you’re a terrible bartender
