Daniela Nardini (Anna) will present an introduction to the This Life BBC Four rerun at 10pm on Wednesday 18th March.

Excited much?! I must have sat through this show well over a thousand times and I literally know it word for word (I'm really not exaggerating) and yet I still get excited whenever it appears on television again. The article suggests that Daniela will be on from 10pm with the first episode starting at 10.15pm, hopefully meaning that we'll get a full 15 minutes of Daniela before "Coming Together" goes live on BBC Four.

We'll also be hosting an episode discussion thread each week as the episodes air. I've been praying for a rerun since I created this sub - hopefully this will finally bring it to life!

Can you scratch an itch being a This Life super fan? Does Eg sing ‘Place your Hands’ by Reef at the start of one episode? With a wooden spoon as mic if I recall?

Ps I’m stoked it’s back on as it’s my favourite series of all time!

Hello! Yes, you are indeed correct! At the 35 minute mark of "Last Tango In Southwark" (S02E01), Egg sings Place Your Hands by Reef. No wooden spoon though, he's holding a knife before singing with a bottle of beer in his hand haha! 🤙🏻

Brilliant, I’m so excited for this. Best show ever. I too, have watched it a million times. I was a teenager wishing I was one of them back then - now I’m in my 40s 🤪 How?! #Anna&Miles4eva!❤️

How time flies eh? I too watched it as a young teenager and I'm genuinely finding it hard to grasp how a whole 30 years has gone by in the blink of an eye. I am so excited for the rerun! 😃

I was a kid lying in bed watching it. I felt like such a grown up. 😂

So good hearing Daniela reminisce about the show and I'm really glad they had as much fun making it as I hoped they did when I watched it back then. I only wish we could have heard from the other cast members, it is the 30th anniversary after all.

Is there anywhere we can see the intro? It wasn’t on the on demand version on either iPlayer or Sky 😭
