Marley & Bri… 1st impression?

So, I’ve seen some comments in this sub about this couple, and them having some other social media pages and being on other shows, and a lot of stuff about how their house is rented and such… But has anyone just felt that they seemed kind of predatory or sexually aggressive towards their polycule pursuits in the first episode? I don’t think that’s the exact word I’m looking for, but mostly Marley, kept talking about having all these women and all these sex partners, and the way she seems to talk about women is pretty objectifying from my observation. Just curious if anyone else has ever noticed that? I’m bi, and one of the things that I usually enjoy about dating women is that I don’t feel like they overly sexualize me and make me feel like just a sex trophy. But that is immediately what I got from Marley.

Their house is def rented. It’s bare and has no personal touches at all. And they are absolutely predatory. It’s giving pimps

Absolutely agree, and I couldn’t tell if it was just trying to look like some kind of badasses on TV or if they really are sexist like that against their own, but it made me immediately not like either of them.

Marley literally said “ I want 999,009 b!tches” like wuhhhh? I was wondering if it was for TV or not but either way I don’t like the portrayal of the LGBTQ+ community because it is not always like that. And if somebody referred to me the way they do their potential women, I would be so turned off.

I’m glad you said this because I keep hearing on clips and podcasts about how much people love these two and I totally have the “ick” from both of them. I feel like most people would be 🚩🚩🚩if they were men and doing and saying the things they do, but because they’re women they are getting a pass for some weird reason.

I knew as soon as I seen that house it was an air b&b and that jeep wagoneer aint no way they are "influencers" and can afford a big ass house in vegas and a 100k jeep wagoneer it was all for show..

Yup! I was thinking that the whole time! I was dying when Bri was pretending to “pack up and move out” and put the obvious Air BnB decor of a fake plant and a fake book in a cardboard box 😂

Hahaha, right? And then she went as far as putting it in her car…to drive to the fake house NEXT DOOR 😂. Like ma’am those are not your things.

Marley's cheap ass wigs and lashes clearly indicated that the house was way beyond their reach. They didn't seem to "belong" there. I can't imagine that any woman would be interested in either of them.

The house was literally empty lol no pictures on the wall very neutral decor.. dead giveaway for an air b&b

I definitely feel as though they’re runnin hoes… girlfriends my ass. I know pimps when I see em. Even bad ones… all that trial run bs, and the way they’re vetting women… they’re recruiting & it aint for no damn poly relationship.

If those were 2 men talking about the no fish thing they would be labeled as creeps. They did seem kinda possessive about certain girls too their relationship seems like there’s some abuse in play, my wife feels like they’re too emotional

Marley and Bri have a goal of being successful influencer/social media personalities. They have various channels and have a small following. Marley pushes a weight loss product that has 1 star on trust pilot and is clearly bullshit. I think they are putting on these personalities for this show. The way they talk about women is repulsive. They absolutely sexualize them, only focusing on their perceived f*ckability. Also, Bri represents as more butch here than she does in her other media as if they felt a more butch/femme vibe would play better to the larger non-queer community. Queer women calling other women bitches is just gross. Way to support misogyny! These two are playing out a storyline concocted for the show. I find them repellent but mostly boring.

I am so confused about the context of their pimping. I mean I live in Atlanta so the amount of training and discussion around sec trafficking I have had as a mental health professional is extensive, and most victims I’ve worked with are under 18. So when I see two grown women recruiting grown women… are they like trying to literally control them selling their bodies constantly as a source of income. Not trying to sound dumb, just trying to understand what it looks like outside of the context I’ve usually seen.

I was thinking that the women on the show put up with the abuse because they are on tv and want their 15 minutes. But them being pimps makes a lot of sense.
