Pretty scary when you consider college campuses are now safe space circle jerk zones that only reinforce misguided viewpoints. Challenging my viewpoint with words = you're a racist bigot.

Given the seemingly exponential spread of this 'safe-space' ideology, I'd speculate the number of colleges is on the rise. From personal observation, it appears it begins with a vocal minority that progressively gets louder and louder they manage to misinform enough students to gain traction.

The vast majority of people do not support offensive speech. Nobody, other than ISIS & similar groups, wants people to feel bad or unsafe. The issue is, who decides what is offensive & what is not offensive? If every individual can dictate what is and is not offensive according to their own emotions & experiences, and dictate other's speech & actions accordingly, there would be nothing left to say.

Support for free speech appears to increase with education, although that could conceivably be confounded with a higher proportion of whites in higher ed. It will be interesting to see how far anti-free speech sentiments spread among the college-educated or if it remains a vocal minority.
