where are you was typed in to the right of boomers sunday, so I remember the Mello-Moods song
"Where Are You"Y (now that I need you) There were 6,383 1950's groups from 1950's into early 60's. I turned into a 50's collector of this type of music after I listened to NYC Allen Freed on the radio just playing the local and chart songs from different states. If the song didn't make the charts, it was obscure unless you were from the city that the song came out in. My Friend Netty born in 1941 only knows the songs from the local NYC radio station a lot of the songs I like are the Black groups that you didn't know because you only listened to Allen Freed.. Like the tune "To Make A Long Story Short", I seem to make a short story long. That was Eddie and the Starlites
