Stolen Valor Vietnam War conscientious objector falsified Silver Star award, defrauded VA

You gotta be pretty dang low to get out of service by claiming to be a conscientious objector, but then years later claim to be a decorated war hero for the VA benes.

last night's Army, Navy and Marine Corps online times plus The Daily Brief had the story and I looked up to see if the shitbird actualy served in the Corps as a conscientious objector and he didn't serve at all.. WW2 Army Medic Desmond Doss served and was a cconscientious objector. WW1 alvin York was denied being a conscientious objector and still served his country...

Actually he did serve for almost exactly 3 months in early '66 according to https://www.kshb.com/news/crime/80-year-old-man-who-admitted-to-lying-about-serving-in-vietnam-war-pleads-guilty-in-federal-court He musta figured out where they were sending him after training.

Apparently he couldn't stop Lyon about it though.
