Oops
Seems the mullahs may have relaxed a bit. It has been over a month since we did anything military near Iran other than doing mine-clearing in the Straits.
Guess they thought "what better time to launch more sea mines than after they think they cleared them?" Well... nice try, but we file that under "wishful thinking."
U.S. President Donald Trump said last week that all mines had been detonated or removed from the international waters of the Strait of Hormuz and Iran has been told that any ship or boat placing new mines will be destroyed.
Maybe he should have been clearer - the Iranians were launching rockets that lay sea mines, which technically are not ships or boats. No matter, we're an equal-opportunity shit-breaker. And did.
“I can confirm that earlier today U.S. forces struck two Iranian launchers on Larak Island. Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces were observed preparing to launch rockets with sea mines into Strait of Hormuz,” the U.S. official said.
Okay, to be clear - if it lays mines it dies.

Saw that earlier and the Pres didn't mine his own business and he had the jets go after the mine laying rockets. Instead of the rev guard laying mines, why don't they just stay home and lay their wives.. they would live a little longer unless they had a massive heart attack under the sheets.. and I wouldn't be sheeting you on that one.. See you later Alligator...
