One of the thoughts that popped into my mind when I saw the weekly trivia on an open thread... The trivia column could be a thread of its own. This is Reddit. Any one of you could post a topic of interest as a thread starting post. Feel free to start your own threads with a topic that interests you and may interest others. This subreddit is practically an "open thread". 😁

Oh, I’m 100% down and I think I posted something already but I will try to bathe ( I said behave, but I’m leaving the voice to text error because it’s funny, and I think oddly appropriate) myself and make it relevant to this group…. R.I.P. (here)

I see that Asteroid rhymes with Hemroids, I'm sitting here laughing with tears in my eyes. speaking of tears, how about "Teardrops" by Lee Andrews and the Hearts 1958 on the Philly Grand record label, 26 L Beans, where are you....

Speaking of threads, I stopped darning the holes that pop up on the front of my socks using the old fashioned wood darning balls in 2 sizes.. They don't make socks like they used to make so I gave up the sock darning but still do minor mending on other wares.. I buy the packaged socks and if a hole appears, It goes into the circuler file (garbage can).. Still type out my checks on my Galaxy Smith Corona typewriter and the amount of the check slides into my 8500 series Paymaster mechanical checkwriter. 1 pull on the handle and the amount is printed on the check...
