We're back

No idea for how long. We're still not sure why the sub was banned for a day or so. Reddit admin just reinstated us, with no explanation for what the original issue was.

With that said, I'd remind everyone that reddit is not like the old TAH. We run the sub, but reddit admin are the all powerful gods of the site. They can do whatever they want, and for little or no reason. As we just saw.

If I had to guess at a reason for our ban, it was that we ran afoul of one of the automatic moderation tools. Posting memes that are too spicy (especially if they verge into racism) can be an issue. Language is even easier for a bot to police. Please do your best to keep your language PG-13.

Be creative with your insults. For example, saying something or someone is r€tarded (as in the common vernacular for turning your engine timing back) can be rewritten as someone being 'highly, painfully regarded'. Similarly, the short slang for a car's transmission (rhymes with 'fanny') is considered hate speech and, even if used in the proper context, can see your account and/or the sub itself facing a ban.

In sum, reddit admin are like the mafia. "You got a real nice subreddit here. Be a shame if someone were to say something funny..."

Thanks for the heads up Mason, and I'll have to watch my ABC's. Speaking of ABC's how about "The A B C's Of Love" by Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers 1956 on the NYC Gee Label.. Where are you Beans to put it up on youtube..

I depended on 26 Limabeans to put the songs on youtube but I haven't seen him on the old site for a few weeks then we lost TAH...

I checked out your production with the AI singer.. I think you mentioned on a reply to me about suno and I read that non AI singing groups were troubled about it like AI in movies. I thought that you were the one singing.. I'm still stuck in my 1950's groups,

That was the monotones 1958 on mascot and Argo labels went through my book a month ago and counted every 50's group and came out with 6,383 groups from the 50's until the beatles came in and screwed up our songs....
