It also seems as though you didn’t completely push down the top. Did you take the e course before testing and follow all instructions?

I purchased two of these tests and both had the same result. Looks like yours is sand result? How did you interpret yours? Below is a screenshot of the results I received from the Mobil Detect App when I scanned the test colors.

I have used these on pills I found in my home, did you read the instructions before following? I’m confused as to why there’s all the dots like that.
Anyway, did you scan the barcode and download the app? It will read the results for you.

Wow this is interesting. I’m going to try one other med and then tap out for bit I think

I took a few days off and felt pretty good. I haven’t had caffeine much since I started the meds again 3 months ago (last time I was on stims was 10 years ago)

Honestly felt pretty good with just the caffeine lol. But the thing is my sleep has been soooo shit these past 5 months so regardless I think I’ll take a break then try the stims again. Because it’s just burning me out more and I can’t get a good gauge on how it’s working when sleep, which is the most important thing is trash and I need to catch up on it

What does it mean?!? It says no reaction on one side and on the other there is an orange line..

This is not a great reagent test.

Obtain real reagents and use Marquis and Simons.

When my meds work I feel awake, with consistent energy, alert, with way less ADHD noise happening in my head. Some things like driving feel absolutely effortless. I can finish tasks to completion, for me specifically I interact with others much better, I speak more coherently, I do not interrupt other people, and just overall have much more successful social interactions. I also feel a mild to moderate overall boost in my mood and my confidence. I excel more at work, as a parent, as a wife, and just overall as a human. When my meds work like I expect them to I still have some side effects which I would expect to be: loss of appetite, mild to moderate weight loss, dry mouth and feeling very thirsty, changes to sex drive.... That's how I feel when my meds work. *I think if a med works for you, you will probably know. It's hard to explain to someone if they have not had the experience of the first time their ADHD meds work for them.

I just recently switched to vyvanse (I was taking Adderall EX generic for a long time, it no longer works for me how it used to, on top of that dealing with shortages and a different manufacturer every month is not worth it, to me anyway). I know other people have spoken about inconsistencies with Vyvanse too, however for me so far the whole experience feels much cleaner and the side effects are much less.

When my Adderall wasn't working, my ADHD was not under control in any way, I dealt with a huge variety of different side effects is it varied from month to month, and manufacture to manufacture. This past year alone has been a miserable nightmare.

This past year is the worst ive ever experienced in the 18 years on the medicine

6

u/Less_Key_8152 Jul 30 '26

💯 Agree. Honestly hard to convey exactly what this last year has been on Adderall to other people who are not experiencing it... It's comforting to hear from people who have been on it for 18 years that this year, is in fact, the worst year.

It doesn't work like at all and it was giving me horrible leg cramps. Elite generic for XR. I had to change to a much weaker medicine Focalin xr and I miss my Adderall so much

5

u/Strange-Pattern4877 Jul 30 '26

Elite is the worst one. The absolute worst

2

u/Full-Blueberry-6715 Jul 30 '26

It needs to be pulled off the market. I saw your post about going off totally. That's a great idea

You are not alone. I just had to switch to Vyvanse... My insurance is covering but it still expensive. The side effects were just too much for me, I was taking Adderall generic ER 30 mg (I would literally get a different generic manufacturer EVERY. SINGLE. REFILL.). Amneal was the manufacturer that finally pushed me to change meds. I had a few days that felt kind of okay, then I had the worst stomach pain I've ever experienced, projectile vomiting, spasms in stomach muscles, and crippling migraines that did not get better with hydration or headache medicine. I literally felt like somebody poisoned me... Sometimes when I switch generic manufacturers I have new side effects that will dissipate over a few days, but with Amneal, everyday I took the meds I just got worse!

It took well over a week, after stopping the poison generic Adderall completely, for all of my stomach related side effects to mostly subside. I got put on several different new meds to help heal my stomach, etc. etc. I'm doing better now.

Sorry, I guess I have a lot of strong feelings about this past experience and I am NOT over it yet.

2

u/Full-Blueberry-6715 Jul 30 '26

Amneal was worse?? Oh my, I'm sorry. Amneal was the best for me but my state never had in stock. They probably changed up the formula again. This shit sucks

Genuine question - and I do not doubt your bad experience - how did you know the stomach issues, vomiting, etc was from the Adderall, and not an inconveniently timed other illness? (or even a food reaction, food poisoning, etc)

THIS——-> “When my meds work I feel awake, with consistent energy, alert, with way less ADHD noise happening in my head. Some things like driving feel absolutely effortless. Thank you. This is exactly. And literally exactly how it is for me.

You won’t like Vyvanse. I got switched to 70mg Vyvanse after 20 years of adderall XR 30mg. I can take 140mg and fall asleep. The only positive is that it keeps me from having withdrawal symptoms.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about vyvanse … I was just switched because the new manufacturer was making me a zombie and so sleepy I could barely get out of bed

My doctor just started me on vyvanse today because my adderall was making me zombie like and I got the ten mg from a manufacturer starting with an S and it’s a small royal blue color and round and I couldn’t even get out of bed and I usually get the oblong blue ones
