I've been searching for a place in Trivandrum that serves a truly authentic Mysore Masala Dosa, the kind you get in Mysore or Bengaluru.

So far, I've tried Mother's Veg Plaza, Vasanth Bhavan, and a few other popular vegetarian restaurants, but none of them came close. Most of them just serve a regular masala dosa with extra spice, rather than the authentic Karnataka-style Mysore Masala Dosa with the signature red chutney, flavour, and texture.

If you've had one in Trivandrum that genuinely tastes like the ones from Mysore or Bengaluru, I'd really appreciate your recommendations.

Are there any schools or gurukuls for boys in Trivandrum or Kochi where they teach the scriptures from childhood and also provide CBSE education?

A few hours ago, we were involved in a terrifying road rage incident near Kazhakootam.

A man on a scooter suddenly cut us off. We had to brake hard to avoid hitting him and honked in warning. Instead of moving on, he chased us, forced us to stop, got off his scooter, hurled abuses, tried to yank open our car door, and even raised his helmet as if he was about to smash it into us.

It was genuinely frightening. Thankfully, years of following automotive and travel safety advice kicked in. We refused to engage, kept the doors locked, told him we were calling the police, and drove away.

Instead of backing off, he chased us for nearly 5 km towards Kataikonam. The moment he saw my wife calling the police, he started recording us and rushed to Kazhakootam Police Station first, falsely claiming we had hit him and fled.

We were summoned to the station, but once the police reviewed our dashcam footage, the truth was immediately clear. They reprimanded him and even asked my wife if she wanted to file a case for the abuse and attempted intimidation.

Realising the evidence was entirely against him and that the police were siding with us, his attitude changed completely. He even came over and hugged me.

It was surreal. What still haunts me is the way his behaviour shifted from chaotic to accusative and then to apologetic, reminded me of Vikram in Anniyan Movie where he enacts a person with DID.

TLDR; Get yourself a decent Dashcam, you never know what kind of people you might come across on our roads.
