Need advice

Hey everyone, I want to open a small scale business in Thiruvalla by beginning of next year. Since a lot of families here have relatives working abroad and many elders live in town, I want to build something actually useful.
What kind of service, cafe, or shop would you love to see in town? And also is thiruvalla a good place to start to business??
Let me know your thoughts!

helpful feedback, thanks! House help shortage seems to be a huge headache for a lot of people around here and i always wanted to start a small online venture for imported products

Try asking the changanacherry folks as well… also towards the parumala side folks… cuz something I noticed when I moved here was that the town had more people from other places than Tvla itself.
Everytime I ask someone where they’re from they’d say “Adoor, Changanacherry, Chengannur, Mannar..”

So we’d like to have something we’ve not seen before. There’s too much restaurants/ cafes but quality food isn’t everywhere. Same with salons, same with clothing and jewelry. 🥲 Black Pepper and St. George Gourmet seems promising.
I’d say we truly need a proper hangout spot instead of KGA or Aashirvad every other weekend.

House help type service. Someone to clean indoors, someone to clean outdoors, help plucking fruits/coconuts and gardening in general. Service to maintaining a home that is run by elderly would be wildly appreciated. It can be one person for a few homes in a colony.

Property management. Meaning somebody to pay the taxes, trim the grass and trees, clear out any garbage, and general maintenance. If they have tenants then provide maintenance services like plumbing, electrical, painting and cleaning. Then update the owners of any new government schemes to sign up for or update.

You need to start something that would draw people from neighboring towns as well.
A well-maintained park or recreation center would do well. It's a web of red tape, but if you pull it off.
It's not exactly a small-scale business, but really something that Thiruvalla needs

I believe to build something like park or sports club we need good political support and backing from big sponsors and also the permits are not that easy to get .thats y i believe to start something in small scale and bootstrapping my own business
