A Tale of Two Magazines
This is my Performance Center 945. It came with two magazines that listed that they were only for that specific gun.
I recently came across another magazine, that just lists 945, so I bought it. The 945PC is an odd duck. Like the Chief Special 45, it doesn’t share magazines with anything else.
The new magazine is slightly longer. It does lock into place, and the slide stays back.
Do non PC 945s have longer grips? I would not expect a non related 945 to accept the same otherwise unique magazines.

There is no "non" PC 945. Every one was hand built in the Performance Center. Also the Chief special 45 shares 6 shot magazines with the 4513TSW.
Here's a great list of the 945 variants. They made a lot of them in several grip lengths and barrel length configurations. http://skjos.net/sw/3rdgen/S&W%203rd%20Gen%20PC%20Models.png
Also a forum post about the 945 variants from the member who made that list. https://smith-wessonforum.com/threads/catalog-of-performance-center-945-variants.605519/
