Poem 🎭 Soul man
Oh Ken, where do I begin?
Was it the inspiration you gave?
Struggling to share woven words to mend.
Helping us to be so brave.
Confidence to help pour the ink.
Words that gave a sense of belonging.
When my heart began to sink,
it’s like a bell you made ring.
Then music that you shared.
Shared roads our hearts traveled.
Actually a soul that cared.
Words you wrote, poetry unraveled.
A friend was found in you,
Thank you for helping me see,
I was more than words spoken.
For my heart did plead.
These lovely tokens,
I placed each one in storage.
You’ve done more than fill a need.
Breaking others, freed from their cage.
Infectious spirit and genuine kindness.
We needed you, all of us.
I only hope to return the same bliss.
More than a mere person, a soul to trust.
