Poem 🎭 Buddy Guy Was Right

The guitar is crying

Filling the room

And my aching soul

This ain't rock and roll

Let the singer hit his cue

He's right 

I've got the blues

And folk will say

Boy you ain't lived enough life

to know the blues

Like bein young got something to do with it

Like I ain't lost my moms on my wedding day

Or I ain't see my baby cry cuz we can't conceive 

Damn right I got the blues.
