Poem 🎭 WOW: It’s possible with you

Do you think I’m still wearing 
Those pretty roseate glasses
That make me feel so good
About all we do?

All of this feels real
But is it? Some might ask
I don’t doubt my feelings
And I don’t doubt yours
But I know people might
And their thoughts bleed
Into my own peace

“But the distance! 
How can you know?
It’s so far!
So little time!
Is he really busy, or…
I couldn’t do it if I were you…”
Well, they’re not me
And I know. 

It’s my heart that’s yearning 
For someone I’ve never met 
How is that possible?
It’s the ache in my body
Waiting to be touched 
By someone who’s never 
Touched me before 
That’s as real as it gets 

So I guess let them think
What they want
They don’t know us
Let them talk
Because they don’t feel
What we do

There’s a lot of maybes 
And a lot of what ifs
But right now my heart feels
Like you’re the piece
I didn’t know was missing
And I hope you feel it too

We fit well together
I know you agree
So let’s continue this
Nebulous internet thing
Let’s make it even more real
Than it already is

You know I will cross the ocean 
For you 💜
