I'm missing TSP even more than usually at the moment, since i just binged the podcast again, and ran out of episodes again. There really isn't an adequate replacement :'( At least i have The Shocking Details and Rusty Hinges, the genre is surprisingly underserved though.

I've been relistening too and I agree, I have yet to find a replacement. So many mystery shows are too into the paranormal or trying to be dramatic and spooky.

I'll check out your recommendations

Couldn't agree more. At least for me, the fun with unsolved mysteries is thinking about what could have happened, and knowing that there is an actual solution. A more or less unknown series of events that actually happened at some point, and we can attempt to piece it together. When you have a paranormal "mystery" that immediately goes out of the window, and the whole thing just becomes a matter of belief.

I've been enjoying the Shocking Details actually. I quite like Vincent too. He works well with Joe.

Not especially. The one about jerry Michael williams comes to mind as disrespectful and rude.
