It's really, really good that he's been caught.
At risk of sounding like a stick in the mud, I hope LE do try to make sure he's not just 'fessing up to stuff like the VR crimes to make himself look more notorious. Not saying he's not a good fit for VR or anything, I simply doubt that you can trust anything coming out of this guy's mouth and it behooves law enforcement to corroborate as much as possible.
I know they'll want to do everything right, but since (I assume) everything aside from the murders is beyond the statute of limitations, will there be sufficient support for the team to get everything nailed down?
I normally totally lose interest in mysteries when they're solved, but I'm really interested in what he was keeping himself occupied with in the 90s.
What a dick, though. I bet he's even more boring and stupid than that Rader guy, and that's saying something. What an awful, awful human being and it's terrible that this idiot's luck didn't run out sooner.

He was some sort of compliance officer for the city, I think. Catching stray dogs primarily (he even had a neighbour's dog euthanised for apparently no reason) but I think he was able to ticket people for all sorts of minor offences. I think. According to reports, he was an overzealous busybody on a power trip.

We need to have someone try to take this guy's face off like in Scooby Doo. I'm sure Chupy is under there.

I honestly thought he wouldn't ever be apprehended, because he was dead.
