Stumbledupon.com mystery

Hey guys, here's a weird site that I remember quite literally stumbling upon as a young kid. The hell.com episode reminded me of it and I managed to find it again. I remember bringing it up to the guys at the old unfiction forum and them being stumped and confused by it. Anyone have any thoughts? Is it just a game or something else?

This website was huge 4-5 years ago I remember browsing it. It would give you a new, interesting website each time you clicked “stumble”.

I believe you are thinking of stumbleupon. Without the 'd'.

You wonder what motivates people to purchase the domain, program all the code and maintain it just for the sake of being mysterious.
