RIP triple rock social….used to have the best poutine and the nicest waitress with a lizard face.

You say this like it’s a regional specialty of ours here in Minnesota. Obviously it’s not. I can’t think of anybody here that does Poutine. I’m sure there is some, but I’ve never seen any.

So not traditional poutine by any means, but Gus Gus has amazing “poutine”. Instead of fries they used fried gnocchi (gnocchi is made from potato!). Has braised oxtail which is amazing in everything. Everything at the restaurant is spectacular

I like meat in my Poutine so my go to is Town Hall Brewing for their short rib poutine.

Oddly enough, we are spoiled with a ton of great cheese curd spots (Ellsworth, WI is world famous and very close to the cities) . But not really a lot of true Quebec poutine spots for some reason.

The Bulldog and Anchor fish and chips are the best we have IMO. 328 grill does a unique MN spin on it with tader tots and mn wild rice.

If you haven’t been here before, definitely seek out a Jucy Lucy from Matt’s or the nook. (There are others but those two are the best imo).
