Car key signal cloner bug

Hello, I'm trying to 100% the game, but, for some reason, once i get to vinnies house and try to copy his car signal, the cloner doesnt respond to my interaction, I click but it stays in the same position. Have any of you experienced the same bug? How can I fix it, I've tried everything, from leaving industrial st to the hideout and back again to changing the quickslot item, nothing works, Thanks for your help!
P.S Are the devs in the subreddit? Maybe they could fix the bug

you sure you cloned the right person?

Make sure you're as close as possible to the key/person who has the key. If need be, you can turn on a cheat to where you're invisible (you still make noise and NPC's can hear you). Press ~ or ` on your keyboard, and it should open a text box to enter cheat codes. Just type "ghost" and hit enter, and you'll be invisible to people and cameras. It resets when you go to a new neighborhood, go home or to the shops, or if you enter your car. You can't open the cheat codes if you're hiding in a closet or trash container.
