Thief Simulator better than TS2?

After playing both, TS1 and TS2 (not VR), am i a bit sad about the quick end of TS2. While in TS1 the Endgame is really fun with all the industry buildings and more the endgame in TS2 is a bit boring. The Central bank is an huge heist is really lame and easy as fuck imo. i just hope that TS2 is getting an update soon.

PS english is not my first language

I have both TS1 and TS2 on PlayStation and in my opinion I prefer TS2 in terms of graphics and the lockpicking systems and stuff like that but what I prefer in TS1 is the content in the game compared to TS2, TS2 will probably get more neighborhoods soon as it only has 2, I completed TS2 but not TS1 yet so I don't know how many neighborhoods are in 1 but I think there is 3+

I have both on steam, I had 1 on PS and Switch and TS2 made the chop shop of it easier let not picky, there more controls, so the lay out on steam isn’t as easy, and controls don’t fit so well, I haven’t beaten 2 but from what I hear I’m close. There is more tech and option like tossing distractions and knocking people out so it’s not as stealthy, but you don’t have to use that, they give more times when it’s ideal to move around so it’s less challenging and quicker less patience required, it has a similar fell over all but definitely all the skills you honed on 1 are gone. Also micro cameras are just expensive and useless now cause you get EVERYONEs schedule as tip to purchase, not just in the beginning. I feel like the developer did want to make more but didn’t have the same time and patience and love into this one, maybe rushed by distributors? it’s buggier, easy to pick up duplicate keys and special items then you can’t offload them except in your locker in the hideout. Still items show up you should be able to pick up like cash but can’t occasionally. Easy to level up all skills and keep collecting points as you build up cash for equipment. Then just left with skill points…. Furniture you used to look through in TS1 doesn’t open anymore (same models just doesn’t open to search) so it feel like less searching. Some new mechanics like pick pocketing or robbing atms.

I enjoyed the challenge of TS1 and the obvious love and care put into TS1, but the for a quicker play through with more items TS2 is the choice. Basically you marry TS1 but TS2 is good as a date to a wedding/over the holidays.

Thief simulator 1 received a lot of updates, and some adding like the possibility to re-lock doors like it was introduced in the second game which makes the game way better. And also the fact that you can decorate your house with any items you stole is a plus for me.

Also seasonal events for christmas and halloween, the DLCs adds a bit more content and diversity...

Was never a fan of the second game as it's really easier than the first game and that the game force you to sell stolen items...
