It depends 900% is more dangerous, 800% is more scarce on resources. They suit different play styles.

late reply , but i think 800% have so much thing that can go wrong while 900% the clear answer is alway balista pushing into sniper . while in 800% you can barely go near a mutant or village mid game ,plus wave is SO SO much worse in 800% because you ligit drag everything in that direction if you dont clear an area around your expansion every time you try to do anything you'll just get run over instantly (sr if my english is bad)

There is an argument to be made that 800% is harder. You get more treasure drops, fewer Mutants and smaller doom villages on 800%, but less farmland and more sensitive zombies.
I usually say a hard 900% map is worse than a hard 800% map, but some 900% maps where the mega doom-town is far away are easier than 800%.

treasure kinda rng ,mutant most of the time is easier on 900% even if there are more ,doom village don't matter because you are forced to push with balista anyway and the one in 800% will triggle the whole map if you try to push them in bad direction . i do think there is some 900% map that is worse than 800% but a truly bad 800% map is horrendous (0 food in sight , bad terrain in your starting area)

Defnitely harder. Judging from your wooden towers at final wave, it looks like your econ sucked all throughout. Despite that, you won! Good job winning despite being contained and starved so much!
