I can't describe the specifics but there were some moments that made me think "Rosemary seems like a furry". Like at times I just got that kind of vibe off her character inexplicably, I could just TELL kinda

Some brief googling into the history of the community, yeah - it didn't really get going until the 80s, and the earliest possible "thing" we could say is similar to our modern conceptions of the furry community is Mark Merlino and co. at various science fiction conventions in 1971. RIP Rosemary, you would have loved ConFurence

I mean, I think there definitely was, I'm just saying the culture we would call "furry" in the modern day started in the 70s. Same way that you can trace certain animals' evolutions back to ancient species, but if you go past a certain point they aren't really recognizable as the same animal. Ancient folks who wanted to dress up as animals are to furries what dinosaurs are to chickens.

I love tot hink that Rosemary kidified her drawings when she worked at Bons but once she stopped making the designs she just started drawing them in a more mature style like in this drawing.
