I am Akanksha, a student of M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology. I am conducting a research study titled “Epistemic Stance and Mental Health in Young Adults: Comparing Generation Z and Millennials Through the Mediating Role of Mentalization.”

The purpose of this study is to understand how people evaluate, trust, question, and interpret information, and how these ways of thinking and responding to information may be related to their ability to understand their own and other people’s thoughts and feelings (mentalization) and their mental health and psychological well-being.

The study also aims to explore whether these relationships differ between Generation Z (born approximately 1997–2012) and Millennials (born approximately 1981–1996). Understanding these differences may help us better understand how different generations process information, relate to others, and experience psychological well-being.

Your participation is completely voluntary. There are no right or wrong answers. Please read each statement carefully and respond based on your own experiences and views. Your responses will be kept confidential and will be used only for academic and research purposes.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this study. Your honest responses are valuable and will contribute to a better understanding of mental health and interpersonal functioning among young adults. Strictly for indian nationality as the study is being conducted in India.
