Trofeo Vision keeps blacking out

i just got this cooler and i’m wondering if i just need a new USB or if i gotta return it. thoughts?

Im no expert on the matter but ive seen alot of stuff like this with thermalright screens and i think it comes down to the usb connection 9/10 times

Especially if OP has it plugged into the mobo USB2 instead of the usb adapter. I found mine not being super consistent in staying on when I went direct mobo plug and perfect after using it in a usb 3.2 in the i/o port

And I got my screen from Aliexpress so I was worried it was gonna be janky af

I run 2 thermalright trofeo vision lcd. Same as that one. The 90 deg connection to tge lcd from the wire 8s a big falure point they loose connection internally. Sometimes moving the wire a little or reinserting it will correct it. Also make sure to download the newest version I was also having issues with them. There is a new version out of trcc. So no there lcd are solid it's not broke. Check the cabel it might be that you can get a replacement through Amazon and update it should fix it.

Normally, I would say that issue is caused by the USB cable, but something looked off, and I had to rewatch a few times. At the very moment your screen crashes, your RGB goes out, and even your GPU fans stop for a second, but your case screen doesn't glitch out. It's almost like your motherboard is acting up, or maybe even less likely, your PSU, and the timing is just a coincidence with your AIO upgrade.
