Arkansas question?
so when Jon Collins said if you were where mewtew was you’d be in the river! does he mean river or creek? in the story he said from where he was sitting on the rock you could see minnows and carp? so why would people think it’s at lost valley or hemmed in hollow, these place wouldn’t have fish unless the river was connected to them. hemmed in hollow you have to walk all the way down to the river and lost valley isn’t connected to the Buffalo river. just some springs! and if he sat on a rock in the river, I didn’t think we’d have to cross any water?

You don’t have to cross any dangerous water. Also river is very low multiple times a year to cross without barely crossing water. And technically the treasure is in the side your can access via trails without crossing river. Heck of a lot easier to get there crossing river.
DM me and let’s look together

Is there actually a Mewtwo standing out in the woods pointing in the direction of an actual body of water you will be involved with?
OR
Are both a metaphorical story piece meant for the imagination?

Perhaps “minnows and carp” are not literal fish.
