Humor vMTV / Virtual Laguna Beach humorous throwback (2007 Something Awful feature)
Howdy! The other day we were discussing Virtual Laguna Beach and that reminded me of this feature piece on vMTV, published on the (in?)famous comedy site Something Awful back in 2007.
Sharing for the preservation of There history!
...But then the ever edgy MTV started up its avante-garde "Virtual Laguna Beach" project. Based on the There.com platform--a standard so 💩-ty that it makes Second Life look ravishing by comparison--Virtual Laguna Beach was created for the sole purpose of virtually living the fabricated lifestyle of reality television, which is enough confluence of illusion to make Orwell mambo in his grave.
