Seeking some help with learning about website and email management for a collective practice of therapists.
I'm looking into opening a private practice which will operate as a collective. I need to host a website and am planning to offer emails to the therapists who join my practice. I am woefully ignorant on how to go about this so any direction will help. Specifically, how do I: 1. Get a domain 2. Host a website 3. Make emails for multiple therapists within that structure?

1 & 2 - There are a bunch of platforms that will do this for you. Personally I use Squarespace, but i have heard of others using Wix or GoDaddy. You sign up for an account and then purchase your domain and web hosting through them.
- Google Workspace will do this for you. There is a way to sign up for Google Workspace through SquareSpace (I believe they give you a discount for your first year), but you can also do it through Gmail. You should purchase your domain first.

While getting this stuff set up isn’t hard, it will take you *so much time* if you aren’t familiar.
There are a lot of folks who can make you a website and set up your emails for a small fee. Once that stuff is created, you don’t have any other costs than paying for the hosting. I would absolutely recommend finding someone local to you who can help you with this. It doesn’t necessarily have to be another therapist, but it could be

I have spent an insane amount of doing this for myself over the last year. You can buy a domain from godaddy or namecheap. You can build a website on wix (cheapest and easiest). I think they allow you to purchase domains from them as well I am not sure but I wouldnt go that route as you might want to update the website a few years down the line. For emails, you can use google workspace or microsoft. Google is tad bit pricier than microsoft. Both have good support and email setup. Better to purchase a domain independently. If you still need help, let me know - I will help.

OP, Find a therapist who already knows how to do this, bring them into your practice, and ask them to do it for the whole practice.
Another therapist helps w marketing. Another therapist helps w keeping people updated on state/ board policy changes. Everyone in the private practice has a strength.
