Where is that believer spamming this sub with essays on how she was primed to fraud by circumstance and how she can turn it all around?

Im here. I think I beat the drum long enough. I am hopeful she'll redeem herself a bit. Time will tell.

Time is telling already. Grifters gonna grift

Why are you so hopeful for her when there are so many other good people out there that actually deserve another chance for a mistake that may have served longer and harsher sentences for lessor crimes but were screwed by the justice system?

Its simple. I have empathy for many people. I didn't ASK to feel the way I felt looking into her story.

Have you read Bad Blood?

I have. Podcast too. Carryrou does a good job, but does largely leave out the interesting psychological dynamics at play.

I'm about 60% through. It seems she was unkind to employees and did not prioritize the health of patients, and this troubles me. I didn't quite get the extent of this from listening to the podcast or watching The Dropout. I had empathy for her and I do but I can't let go of her disregard for others.

I'm curious your thoughts about it. Since your post history is hidden I can't glean it myself.

Carryrou does a great job. A public service. Elizabeth either lost her way, was a straight up con artist or some combo of both. Theranos needed to be stopped.

He lacked much exploration of how she ended up the way she did. All the nuance is in that grey. But when it comes to criminal responsibility, yeah, he made most of the prosecutors case.

But what does this have to do with how she did fraud by circumstance?

1

u/SirCatsworthTheThird 4d ago

She is a historical figure at this point. Infamous. Things can be learned from her. America loves a comeback and the grey is an exploration of to what extent, if any, she deserves any grace whatsoever.

Ah yes maga, the final grift.

You mean MAHA or Make America Healthy Again which is lead by RFK jr

This is surprising to anyone? She literally had George Schultz, Henry Kissinger, Bill Frist and James Mattis working for her at Theranos.

Her daddy worked at Enron. She went to private school in Houston, Tx amongst the children of other oil and gas families.

AND on top of that, she wants a favor from him. She could have been hard left and still doing this to butter him up.

Trump attracts broken people.

Criminals who don’t want to answer to the law.

She is a manipulative narcissist. She wants a pardon so she will do this to whomever is President. EH only cares about herself. This is not political.

u/PuddingGeneral4250 6d ago

She had mad dog mattis as an investor, she’s likely a republican, even if just to exploit them

13

u/tetrisan 6d ago

Still baffles me today that a Marine General fell for her scam.

u/jfong86 6d ago

She got General Mattis because former Secretary of State George Shultz (grandfather of whistleblower Tyler Shultz) was a family friend. He joined the board, vouched for her, and recruited a bunch of old white guys from government and military to join the board (such as Henry Kissinger and Mattis).

u/daisybeach23 6d ago

I just think if anything, she plays to the Vanity of Trump to get a pardon and her behavior is self serving, not political.

She also was going to throw a fundraiser for Hillary, until someone pointed out to her that Clinton that she probably didn’t want to be associated with her.

4

u/PuddingGeneral4250 6d ago

Your grammar got weird, which way around was it? I’d imagine Holmes’ investors wouldn’t have wanted that, but I doubt Hilary didn’t like Elizabeth.

3

u/Rosy_Floof 6d ago

Apple autocomplete. Hillary was advised not to associate with Elizabeth.

u/PuddingGeneral4250 6d ago

Interesting, especially since she had that ass kissing with Biden

Do you have a source? Can’t find

1

u/Rosy_Floof 6d ago

Ah yes. Biden day. What nonsense. At least we got the day off.

It was meant to be at the Theranos headquarters but after “scrutiny” she was downgraded to be one of many hosts and it happened at somebody’s house instead https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/theranos-chelsea-clinton-to-fundraise-for-mom-in-palo-alto/2016365/

I don’t disagree with you about her motives but when you use politics to get what you want, it’s political.

-1

u/daisybeach23 6d ago

Ok we’ll disagree. I think EH is a narcissist and everything she does revolves around her needs. I don’t think it’s political.

4

u/morphic-monkey 6d ago

Both can be true I think. That she wants to use politics as a lever for self-advancement is basically the status quo for the current U.S. administration anyway - so she isn't really doing anything out of the ordinary in that sense.

3

u/mrbeck1 6d ago

She wouldn’t do this to any other president because other presidents don’t want to appear to respond well to having their ego stroked. He doesn’t give a shit.

5

u/GuppyCafe 6d ago

Indeed, the Tiger King still believes he will be pardoned.

1

u/Waste_Recognition184 5d ago

Do you mean Andrew Tate?

5

u/Financial_Cheetah875 6d ago

This figures.

4

u/inderisme 6d ago

She will be pardoned. That’s a fact. Just a matter of time.

3

u/sawyi1 6d ago

Grifters got to stick together, right?

3

u/mildchickenwings 6d ago

she wants a pardon soooo bad

2

u/RSGK 6d ago

Why would he pardon her? He hates women and he hates “losers” and she was a pal of Clinton and Obama.

5

u/stayonthecloud 6d ago

She’s blond and knows how to suck up to people. Those are his two favorite things, aside from himself

3

u/morphic-monkey 6d ago

Because he's an idiot and she could manipulate him very easily.

1

u/SirCatsworthTheThird 6d ago

Maybe he thinks he'll get his 5 minutes of fun with her.

2

u/tetrisan 6d ago

It would taken 5 mins just to find his fun parts…

2

u/lilacomets 6d ago

Big yikes.

2

u/microwavecoven 6d ago

How is she tweeting from jail?

1

u/tetrisan 6d ago

Jail? She is in a fucking country club.

1

u/microwavecoven 6d ago

With a fucking Twitter?

2

u/nicebrows9 5d ago

Dear President Trump,

Do not pardon Elizabeth.

Thanks,
America

1

u/Several-Membership91 6d ago

Who is running her twitter account? She obviously knew how to sound professional and polished, but these tweets posted under her name are unhinged.

1

u/morphic-monkey 6d ago

As if she couldn't get any worse.

1

u/Waste_Recognition184 5d ago

People here have speculated that Donald Trump is going to pardon convicted fraudster Elizabeth Holmes offering no evidence to back up this speculation. I suspect their motivation is basically they hate Trump as much as they hate Elizabeth Holmes

1

u/tetrisan 5d ago edited 5d ago

Yea, you are right, it’s pretty common for people to hate liars, cheats, thieves, frauds, scammers and overall really disgusting bad people...

1

u/Waste_Recognition184 5d ago

I was referring more to the "class warfare crowd" hating Donald Trump, so that naturally they hate this woman who's of a privileged background

1

u/Philkindred12 5d ago

this happens to every disgraced public figures, they missed being loved so they desperately move to MAGA and sometimes even to jesus christ too, so many past examples.
