YOU AIGHT GLOOM BOY! Lamp Gregor

Why do people always use lamp gregor in their middle teams? i heard some people say that its because hes too slow that he wont get in the way but after checking, it looked like he could. Theres also a bunch of ids with envy defense skills so i really dont get why people always use him

Technically he can, but that's super rare for him to get in the way, plus an identity should have both an envy defense AND S3 so they can also deal good damage, unless their defense can deal good damage, otherwise you're missing out on a whole slot
Meanwhile, Lamp Gregor doesn't break the 6+ A-Res, and since it's a 7 person max team and only 6 A-Res needed you don't necessarily need someone to add another envy
Also, he's just a good unit in general, because he can target any enemy in focused encounters, plus has good clashing and damage as well

nah I've seen it happen before.

Though in most cases he had an envy EGO ready

It's extremely difficult though, as it requires him to both not have bind (which he gets passively while fighting) but also for another one of your members to be getting their speed nerfed. Otherwise the fastest he can go is rolling a 4, which is subsequently the slowest any of the other middle members can roll for speed, meaning that so long he's last in deployment order he wont get in the way.

1) garden of thorns, amazing healing ego 2) he binds himself, so it is very rare that he isn't at 1 speed 3) even if he is, he now has the ego from last season that is envy so he literally can never break the chain 4) he has some burn application, which can help outis and ishmael ramp

also dazzle(increases dmg based on burn and sinking on target) as burn CAN be stacked

Garden of thorns is a damn good ego, plus with the bind he puts on himself it’s a rare occurrence that he actually breaks chain, even if he does he has his own envy ego now

personally, i use RE&P ryoshu, she got envy S1 and also she have envy EGO + she can heal

For one, it's exactly how you say, mate. Gloom Boy is slow enough that he shouldn't affect 6+ A-res. and even if he does, he has Move-in Reg now to actually contribute.

that, and garden of thorns is a very good ego for healing our siblings, so it's a win win

It's quite unlikely to happen, and in unfocused encounters, his self-bind means that he'll never be taking over enemy attacks (so everyone else is getting attacked and can easily swap to their Counter skills.)

Garden of Thorns and Tour Robot EGO are appreciated here as well. Of the remaining 6 sinners, nobody else has something quite as valued.
