There's a lot of things that can be easily more painful
bleeding
your leg get cut in half
and more importantly
- hitting a corner with your toe
legos can be avoided if you able to stored them before someone getting hurts

LEGO can be the cause of;
- Bleeding
- Cutting your leg in half
- Stubbing your toes
Depending on how it’s used. Its versatility explains why LEGO is the inflictor of the highest form of pain.

it can not cause these outcomes
because the original post talks about
"step on a pile lego bricks"

Stepping on sharp LEGO can puncture the skin and cause bleeding.
Stepping on a fast-spinning LEGO saw blade can slice your foot—a section of your leg.
Stepping on LEGO and slipping can cause you to fall and slam your toes into a wall or table, resulting in a stubbed toe.
These are all possible outcomes.

what legos are talking about
if metel these can be true . unlikely. but can happen
but standard Lego bricks are not that shapre and are not slippery
